.
After 15 years THESE GUYS are still just so fucking good. Most bands seem to lose "it" by that point. The Cure, for instance, after WISH became pretty shitty. Only a couple songs off of REGRET from New Order were any good, and almost everything they've done since that has been weak. U2 has been dripping shit from their pores ever since ACTHUNG BABY!. I mean, to follow up ACTHUNG BABY! with ZOOROPA? They just completely fell of the table with that one and haven't been the same since. Billy Corgan tried to bring the Smashing Pumpkins back and failed. That new album is mostly pretty bad. The list of bands that had some really phenomenal beginnings only to peter out into being totally inconsequential and BORING is almost endless. But Radiohead are still fucking amazing. In fact, even though I had a bad first reaction to IN RAINBOWS, I now think it's probably my favorite record of theirs. It's damn near perfect.

Comments:
maybe the problem is that you like shitty bands.

I'm just kidding.

or am I?

Weren't you the one just rectly, on yr blog, trying to figure out where to shelve yr WEEN records???

FUCKING WEEN!!!!

OMG! OMG!

OMG! FUCKING WEEN!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHAHHAHAFUCKINGWEENFUCKINGWEENFUCKINGWEENHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

fucking ween.

I don't own any ween records. That was a joke. But everyone took it seriously. I'm too busy listening to Pantera to even have time to consider to even remember that ween exists.

The Breeders' new album is really good (I think they've been away for a while).

but the breeders really only had one or two albums before they 'went away,' right? i mean, they didn't develop much of a history for themselves. they were almost a side band of the pixies then they were their own band.

at least, that's how i felt about 'em.

You're going to read the word "fuck" a lot. And probably "holy shit" just as much. Other than that, you'll get disjointed thoughts on baseball and poetry, and also my favorite TV shows, apparently; oh, and news on TRANSMISSION PRESS publications and small town magazine, which you can purchase in the sidebar below. C'est la fuck it.
